Steganography hides the existence of a message inside ordinary-looking data. This tool stores UTF-8 text in the least-significant bits of a PNG's colour channels, which is invisible to the eye but survives lossless saving. The image never leaves your browser.
LSB steganography, honestly
Each pixel has red, green and blue channels. Changing the lowest bit of each channel alters the colour by at most one step out of 255 — imperceptible, but enough to carry one bit per channel. The first 32 bits store the message length, then the UTF-8 bytes follow.
This is obfuscation, not encryption: anyone who suspects the file can extract the bits. Re-encoding to JPEG or resizing destroys the payload. For confidentiality, encrypt the message first and hide the ciphertext.
