Password generator
Generate random passwords with the browser's cryptographic RNG, choosing length and character sets. Nothing leaves your device — copy the result into a password manager before closing the tab.
What makes a password strong?
Length beats complexity: every extra character multiplies the search space, while predictable substitutions (a→@, e→3) barely help. Aim for 16 or more random characters, unique per site, stored in a password manager. Reusing one password means a single breach unlocks every account.
The entropy readout under the password shows how many bits an attacker would have to search. Below about 60 bits, offline cracking becomes practical; 80 bits or more is a comfortable target.
Use a password manager so every account gets its own. This tool runs 100% offline in this page.
