MX Record Validator
MX (Mail Exchanger) records are DNS entries that say which servers accept email for a domain, and in what priority order. Query them to confirm mail routing before a migration, or to diagnose why messages bounce or land at the wrong provider.
How MX records work
Lower priority numbers are tried first; equal numbers share load. If no MX exists, mail falls back to the domain's A record, which is rarely what you want. Changing providers means updating MX targets and waiting out the old TTL.
