Client-Side Embeddings Search
An embedding is a list of numbers representing a piece of text's meaning, so similar sentences end up close together even when the wording differs. This page builds embeddings with Transformers.js and ranks your snippets by semantic similarity — entirely on your device.
What are embeddings?
Text is passed through a small language model that outputs a vector (often 384 numbers). Comparing vectors with cosine similarity gives a semantic match score, which is how search finds “cheap flights” for a query like “budget airfare”. Nothing is uploaded; the model runs in the browser.
This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your inputs and files are processed locally and are never sent to or stored on Kinetikatech servers.
