Background Remover
Segmentation separates the person in a photo from the background, pixel by pixel. This page runs MediaPipe's selfie-segmentation model (about 250 KB, downloaded on first use) in your browser to cut out the subject — tuned for people, so objects and hair edges can be imperfect.
What is segmentation?
The model labels each pixel as person or background, then the tool makes background pixels transparent. It works best on a clear, well-lit person against a contrasting background. Fine hair, glass and busy edges are where it struggles; check the result before using it on a product page.
This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your inputs and files are processed locally and are never sent to or stored on Kinetikatech servers.
