Browsers match selectors right-to-left, so descendant chains, attribute tests and pseudo-classes cost more than a single class. Paste a stylesheet to score every selector with a heuristic, list why it scored high, and surface !important overrides and very long chains. The numbers are guidance for review, not a substitute for a DevTools performance profile.
